Watercolour.

Tom

Butter wouldn’t melt – yeah right! Don’t be fooled by those big blue eyes and cheeky chops in this watercolour. Tom is full of life, and doesn’t stop still for long enough to appreciate the speed in which he’s growing. But there is always the painting to remind us.

Two watercolour sketches of this charming little girl. Show off her endearing character.

Watercolour.

Calder

Just a quick watercolour sketch in black and white of Calder, little baby boy. It just so happens that the light and composition captured the little man at the right time.

Mae and Amaya

So sweet! This painting captures a friendship that spans 10 years. Even 7 years on these girls can while away hours together. They’re not so interested in feeding ducks, more so sharing snapchats and playing Sims.

Watercolour Portraits

Watercolour can be unforgiving. Each mark is like a stain on the paper, and so it takes years of practice (and some secret skills), to create a painting that looks good, but more importantly captures the likeness of its subject and, of course their character and personality.

A typical watercolour will take between one to two weeks to produce. I will advise on the preferred composition and will often paint from photographs. You can find out more information on how to prepare and get the right photographs for your own watercolour here.

These watercolours vary in size, but they are typically between A4 and A0 in dimension.
